Since the launch of the business in 2000, Esphion has selected several highly respected investors to provide both knowledge and funding to support the growth of the company.

Esphion was awarded an initial investment from the New Zealand Seed Fund (NZSF) in April 2001, to support the product development process and the release of our first product into the market place in early 2002.

The second round of investment of NZ $5 million was led by TMT Ventures with follow-on investments from Esphion’s existing investors. Investors in TMT Ventures include Telecom NZ and Alcatel.
